Our commitment
VideoOptimize is designed so your videos remain your property. Compression is built to run on your device rather than on our infrastructure.
No video collection or storage
We do not upload, collect, store, or process your video files on a server. Encoding runs locally in the browser with WebAssembly. We do not have access to the contents of your videos.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics) for aggregate usage patterns such as page views, browser type, and country. This does not include your video files.
Cookies
VideoOptimize does not use tracking cookies for ads. Cookies or similar storage from our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may be used only for security and delivery of the site.
Third-party libraries
The open-source FFmpeg WebAssembly engine may be loaded from a public CDN when you first use the compressor. That download is the encoding library — not your video.
